The world is changing, society is evolving and, more than ever, it is becoming aware of the importance of caring for children and their education, so that they become well balanced adults who feel good about themselves.
Since it was created, the "Enfants en Suisse" guide has aimed to provide you with answers to questions you may ask yourself, ideas relating to everyday life, information about all the fields likely to be of interest to you in your role as parents.
Our guide is updated every year. In this 2018 issue, which is still focused primarily on health and prevention, you will discover other topics such as "Slow Parenting", the benefits of boredom, but also advice on choosing your toddler’s first pair of glasses or at what age you can consider leaving a child at home alone. You will learn how to build an insect nesting box, enjoy a Sunday brunch prepared with your family and address the pros and cons of purchasing an electric bike for a child. You will reassess the importance of water in your little one’s development and the necessity of making sure that they are given a healthy and varied diet.
New parents are not forgotten with a spotlight on the "baby-clash", the crisis that many couples face after the birth of their baby. Special emphasis will also be placed on young mothers’ sleep and tips on how to preserve it.
Other topics await you, which we hope will be useful to you as time goes by!
The whole "Enfants en Suisse" team wishes you an enjoyable read and a great year with us!
